That's a pretty 4 game stretch for the Flyers. To beat WAS, BOS and STL (away) and play TB tough in a 1-0, I couldn't really ask for more.

Leave to the NHL scheduling morons to schedule a game in STL in the middle of a home stand and then schedule a back to back as well. Who pays these knuckleheads?

What do San Jose, Vegas, Nashville and New Jersey all have in common? All their goalies are playing like garbage! I find it unlikely that changing coaches will make the difference. Especially with San Jose and New Jersey, who had GMs who decided to enter the year with objectively bad goaltending tandems. One team lost their GM, the other has GM, who while having generally done a good job, probably has pictures of the ownership.

Barring injury, Ovechkin appears to be a lock to tie Gretzky and Bossy* with his 9th 50 goal season.

*For the youngsters out there, Bossy scored 50+ goals in each of his 1st 9 seasons (5 60+ goal seasons), retired after his 10th season (38 goals in 63 games) due to injuries at age 29.
