Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***

Through as group winners playing a bunch of U21s. Well done, bring on City.

If Pepe can’t go I’m all for a front 3 of Martinelli-Auba-Saka.

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***

No Bellerin, Ceballos, Holding, or Xhaka for City.

Pepe is available.

After Arsenals China statement, I gotta say, I don't think this is the club for me. TOS says I won't go in to detail, but it's been a fun ride y'all, enjoy the club.

For the last few years I've always felt as if I've grown further away from the club—not the players, but the club whether that was the ownership or also previously the management.

As the club continues to evolve into even more of a commercial juggernaut first before anything else, I often ask myself if I could just stop watching, stop following, etc. Could I start following a smaller, supporter-owned club in Germany, for example?

I don't know, but if I personally started to detach entirely from anything owned or operated in an unethical manner at some level, I'd be pretty detached from society as we now stand—which is unfortunate, but that's the travesty of a world we're now living in. But, maybe Arsenal is one of those things that I can do that with eventually.

To say I'm disappointed with the club's statement is a massive, massive understatement.

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***

I was already a little out the door with the Rwanda stuff, this was really a bridge too far. Honestly between things like this (that prove its 99% Money and 1% Soccer) and the absolutely limp response by multiple organizations to racism, it's beginning to feel like soccer may not be a sport for people like me.

Honestly suntan, I feel like every club would have taken the same stance. China’s a huge market that is just recently being tapped. Too much $ out there for clubs to do the right thing.
