Can't believe Spurs are getting a quality player like Niko Krankjar for 2.5 million pounds. We couldn't scrape that amount of cash up to get him? I hate our board.

Well, Rafa said he wasn't going to make anymore transfers, so you had to expect something like this. Nevertheless, Kranjcar would be a perfect fit for the current Liverpool squad. Throw him down the left as a roaming midfielder, allowing him to move into the center of the pitch at will (a la Yossi Benayoun), and the combination of him, Gerrard, Kuyt, Aquillani, and Mascherano in the midfield would be deadly. For 2.5 million, this would be one of the steals of the season (decade?).

Liverpool tried to sign him. He had offer from Manure and Reds and he choose Manure.

Kranjcar or Van der Vart would have been terrible signings i reckon.

Kranjcar plays the same as Yossi, prefers ball in the middle and would cut back all the time like Yossi if played wide. Van der Vart for the exact same reasons.

We need width, on the left.. dont know who though? Riera is to hot and cold. Great when he is hot, pretty bad when he is cold and Babel is just Babel(enough said)
