Yeah that's true, Kepa had some good saves.

Slavia Prague kicked Sevilla out of the Sevilla League, this was never going to be a particularly easy game, and they are very good at home as well.

Pedro is on fire this game lmao.

I guess that's about it for the rest of the season then? Kind of wish he hadn't used it up on Praha.

Re: ***The Official Chelsea FC Thread***

Tammy absolutely monstering it over at Villa.

Sometimes I wonder how we would be doing with Tammy instead of our current strikers.

Here's the thing. Obviously he's playing in the Championship, and he's certainly not close to an in-form Higuain or Morata, but he puts the ball in the back of the net. That's literally the difference between us battling for top 4 and being comfortably in 3rd place. If we had a striker that could score consistently, our entire season would be markedly different. We create so many chances, and nobody is finishing them. Maybe he isn't as good of a dribbler as Morata, nor does he have his pace, and he doesn't have the technical ability that Higuain theoretically has (or had, at this point), but he does put the freaking ball in the freaking net. Sometimes he needs 3 or 4 chances, but he puts the ball in the net. Currently, none of our strikers can even be relied upon to put away 1 in 4.

Idk. Part of me thinks that if we go into next season with Tammy/Michy/Giroud as our strikers we are totally screwed, but part of me thinks that we just need someone who can finish and that's literally it.

I guess we very well may find out next season.

That really sucks for CHO because that kind of injury can take a lot away, just ask Christian Benteke, he's never been the same.

Re: ***The Official Chelsea FC Thread***

On a slightly more positive note; once again we look like a different team when Ruben is playing.

He’s amazing honestly. If we can fix his back issues I genuinely think he could be the best thing that’s happened to our club since Hazard.

He’s got everything really, and game by game you can see his weaknesses slowly evaporating.

I’ll honestly be devastated if we can’t help him sort out his back issues, far more than if CHO left. What a player Ruben can become.
