Was legit debating making logos and an FM Mod for this.

Re: The Beautiful Game Thread

looks like BeIn has jumped in on the streaming gig, I signed up for a free trial to watch some of AFCON going on, but it'll have LaLiga, Ligue 1, SuperLig, and others for the typical price of $9.99/month.

It's called Fanatiz, I'll let be back with comments later. For those looking at making a plunge for a streaming service for soccer...

ESPN+ - totally worth it, excellent content across sports, many different sports leagues, and just 5.99/month or 54.99/year(what I paid at least). The web app sucks on Chrome and will crash, and the menus are a bit weird to navigate on the web app and roku app, but overall still worth it.

NBC Premier League Pass - 64.99/year, if you like a team that isn't on TV much it may be worth it, but the webapp isn't great, and the Roku app wanted me to sign in nearly everytime I launched it. I don't think it's worth the money you pay, but if it's the only way to watch your beloved Norwich City, I get it.

B/R Live - Champions League/Europa League/Youth League for UEFA, Scottish Premiership/Cups, Belgian Pro League, and some Liverpool/BVB specific stuff. Website is awful, App was pretty bad on roku and crashed constantly, It's unforunate how bad this service was I chipped 79.99 for the years worth of stuff and it was honestly one of the worst streaming experiences outside of the Women's World Cup on Fox.

B/R is atrocious on all fronts really, they make Fox look good and Fox doesn’t even appear to actually like the sport. Really impressive tbh.

My friend has FuboTV because of his job (e.g. he translates a bunch of FIFA stuff from French to English and runs the US-based Wolfsburg and French National Team Twitter among a bunch of other stuff) and swears by it. Yes, he basically lives the dream.

Re: The Beautiful Game Thread

Ha, well he only does a couple team accounts and has to be on good behavior with them. The stuff he does for FIFA is their website stuff - mainly around big tournaments. Like the team preview articles and capsules - he usually does those. So he has to keep up on his soccer watching. It is really rough

The non-soccer stuff is mostly a French language Belgian newspaper and just random projects through a middleman he works with. Could be anything from a board game to a technical manual. It's actually amazing how steady his work is working as a French to English translator from home in Duluth MN.

Re: The Beautiful Game Thread

tbf, that's how I get my Danish league games, I translate Danish to English for a few clubs, and use a VPN for a TV account lmao.

Also, I hated FuboTV's pricing/add-ons/etc plan. If it was free, I'm sure I'd love it, but I wasn't impressed with their initial offering.
