World Cup Qualifying: The Road to Russia

Thought there could be a place where we discuss all the qualification games for the 2018 World Cup in Russia that happen in the next few years from the CONCACAF, CONMEBOL, AFC, OFC, CAF and UEFA!

Too bad more of these aren't on TV over here. Outside of games containing Canada, no other country seems to be getting any sort of regular TV slots here. Surprised not even USA games are shown up here.

Just based on ranks, Costa Rica,Mexico,USA are the faves to finish top 3 and qualify for World Cup.

After 1 game, only upset so far is Canada over Honduras, all others had the expected winner, winning.

I'm right there with you. I'd love to watch the other confederations qualification games.

In terms of the CONCACAF no team really shined through in my opinion. Will be an interesting day Tuesday, especially when USA plays Trinidad and Tobago.

I just subscribed to BEIN sports. I saw quite a a few games over the last few days. Argentina v Brazil, Ecuador v Uruguay and the most entertaining game for me was Tanzania v Algeria.

We get a tiny break today and then back it tomorrow with more CONMEBOL, AFC, AFC and CONCACAF!

Can't wait.

I wish they offered Bein as just a couple channels where I am at but they don't. I have to upgrade to the super sports pkg which adds like 20-30 bucks to my bill.

Not any real big surprises yet with the powerhouses winning in the AFC and CAF.

China's struggles with Hong Kong have been a surprise. Two 0-0 draws and are in real danger of not making to the final round of Asian qualifying. Qatar and China were expected to easily finish top 2 in that group.

Yeah that is true. That and I am kind of surprised by Kuwait keeping pace with Lebanon.
