Arsenal are literally going to win the league with 112 points.

There's your prediction.

Also, unrelated to that truthbomb, I'm a big fan of Friday afternoon matches. Gives me something to do between setting up the tailgates and beginning the party in the fall and before Friday night games in the spring.

A few years ago in college I would have loved them, too.

Now, not so much.

No Pogba this weekend:

POGBA DEBUT ON ICE

Paul Pogba will have to wait to make his second debut for Manchester United after the Football Association confirmed the Frenchman will serve a suspension this weekend, ruling him out of United’s Premier League opener at Bournemouth.

The 22-year-old is suspended for one match due to culmination of cautions whilst at former club Juventus.

Pogba is understood to have had an outstanding domestic suspension in Serie A, which has been transferred over to the Premier League.

I wasn't expecting him to play anyway considering how he just joined them a week ago and can't be anywhere close to match fit.

Looking at this weekend's games it's really hard to make a safe prediction. Even the ManCity-Sunderland game is tricky.

I don't know, I feel like City at home to Sunderland is pretty cut and dried.

Re: The 2016-17 EPL Discussion Thread

Sunderland has been City's bogey team for years, through 2 different managers even. Though I think it's usually Stadium of Light, but Sunderland has definitely given them problems at the Etihad too.

Maybe it'll change under Pep, but I don't put it past City to lose at any time to any team. They seem to have some of the most inexplicable matches of all the top teams.
