I am all for the auto-sub feature. Nothing is more annoying than your starting player being rested or picking up an injury you don't hear about before that 6:30 AM game that you didn't get up for.

I'm also heavily in favor of it—I don't think that one will really be much of a contest. Interesting to see where everyone lands on the waivers.

I don't care all that much either way on waivers, but I went with rolling.

I agree 100%. I consider myself a big Premier League fan, but I DVR a good portion of matches to watch when I get up. I also coach soccer, and we play most games on Saturday mornings. I've missed out on a lot of points when I'm not available when Starting XI's are posted. Solid addition.

I voted no on auto subs. I think the concept is sound, but its just going to reward people for making bad choices. If you pick someone (as in you set your lineup) and then they just don't play, the system will auto sub a player end of match with someone else. So you get rewarded for making a bad lineup call. Kind of defeats the whole point of having to set a lineup doesn't it?

Re: 17/18 Fantasy Premier League (Togga)

I guess I misunderstood the auto sub feature. I figured if a guy got scratched from the lineup, it would replace at that time with an eligible player on the bench. And if that person is a scratch too, that's just life. Haha. If the player is on the team sheet before the game, he shouldn't be able to be replaced. I like the idea more for 100% scratches due to injury, etc.

It'll also be nice to keep things fair when guys forget to set their lineup throughout the season. I forgot a few times, but some people forgot quite often. It's nice to beat someone 80-5, but I'd rather see how things go against the opponent's "best possible" team.

So a 4 AM draft for me haha. I can count myself lucky that work hasn't started yet on August 8.

Is the app solid enough to draft with or is a laptop really recommended?

I'm trying to get an answer from them on how many players it would automatically sub in.
