He’s actually been quite bad for Germany, and Low picks based on NT form rather than club form.

Plus he’s competing for a spot at LW, which is where Reus and Draxler play.

Yup, and those other guys, including Brandt can all play multiple positions + they contribute defensively.

But that pace is a match changer. A front 3 of Werner, Reus, and Sane with Ozil behind would have been crazy fast. Gotta find a spot for World Cup Mueller though.

Re: World Cup 2018

I definitely think they should've taken Sane instead of Brandt. But they'll sleepwalk into the quarterfinals and probably semifinals like always so what do I know?

Re: World Cup 2018

So, jumping ahead a bit, are we rooting for the 2026 World Cup to be in Canada/USA/Mexico, in spite of the fact that it's kind of dumb to give it to 3 seperate countries? Also, would all 3 countries get automatic qualification? It's just strange.

Eh, I'd be fine if Morocco got it.

That will be the first to have 48 teams, so it’s feasible all three would auto qualify.

Yes we’re rooting for it dub!

if anything, it’s worth rooting for us to get it for the time zones.

True true. Having matches start at 3am and 8am local time for me is pretty damn disappointing.
