First dev diary for iRacing's NASCAR 25 dropped last week but I just came across it today. Not a NASCAR fan but I'm really interested in this game with the iRacing team behind it.

Oh heck yeah. Thanks for sharing. I’m so stoked for this. I wonder, with their “over the coming months” sign off at the end, I wonder if there’s a chance they’re shooting for a release around the Daytona 500 in early February?

That would be a very opportune time to launch it. I'm going to be all over it no matter when it releases, but bundling that with the Daytona 500 would be exquisite.

Didn’t they already indicate a fall 2025 release? I would be stoked if they pulled it into the beginning of the year though.

I hadn't read that previously, but I did a search after reading your post and found this in a Newsweek article that ran earlier this Summer:

"Racing has unveiled key details of its latest project, 'NASCAR 25', set to be released in the Fall of 2025. This comes after iRacing's acquisition of the development rights from Motorsport Games in October 2023, and the earlier purchase of Monster Games."

Oh this is going to be a looooong wait. I'm sure it will be worth it when it gets here though. This group of developers do simulations right!
