Quite a few of us over at DSP have started running NR2003 races in a revival of sorts. The most common mods are either the stock Cup (which wouldn't be a mod at all, I guess), PWF Craftsman Trucks, or Aero88's. The racing is really good with fixed setups, especially in the 88's. It's just the actual driver count that lacks sometimes. Last night we had some pretty good duels over longer runs, and most of our races are in the 20% to 30% timeframe at 10:30EST. We don't have a set night, we're just sort of playing it by ear and starting whenever we can get some interest.
We're interested in running as clean as possible, not necessarily a hot lap competition. If you're a seasoned vet or a brand-spankin' newbie, we don't really care as long as you don't try to run into other cars or force bad positions...going 3 wide into turn one on lap one in a 100 lap race would be forcing a bad position. Nobody will be crucified over it, but repeat attempts would probably be met with a bit of...resistance, shall we say?
Anyway, now that we sound like a bunch of elitist pr*cks (and we're not, actually), I'm just trying to see if there's anybody that visits this forum that may be interested as well? I've run leagues in the past that had 20-30 drivers show up on a weekly basis, and my connection that I host it on is a 10MBit down/1MBit up line that seems to hold up very well.
Any interest?

I didnt realize this game was such a hit until recently. I have had it since it came out and only played it a couple times then into the closet it went to collect dust with my other pc stuff.LOL But anyway PM me with some more info on like how to connect and get setup. Thanks guys.
