This is how custom paint schemes have always worked on PC games such as NR2003. Its great to see it be used on consoles now. HOWEVER on the PC games you could of course edit any driver, for this you can only use it on a created driver, no editing real life drivers on this game. So that sucks.

Very cool stuff.

Also in reading up on it, it appears that you'll be able to upload the schemes to the EA Locker for download. Shame you can't edit current drivers though.

After many years of frustration with EA's Nascar titles though this is a step in the right direction.

no but you could create a current driver's car and then upload their picture into the game (for those of you who haven't read about it, you can upload a "driver picture" for the car you are creating when you go to the "upload" section)
