Burnout: Big Surf DLC no longer free (CVG)

CVG is reporting the latest DLC for Burnout Paradise is no longer free.

"The upcoming Big Surf Island update for the ball-out racer was previously touted as free content, like previous DLC packages, but Criterion has confirmed that it will instead be "premium paid-for content"."

They don't have a very good explanation for that. To me it sounds like they made it better than they thought it would be so it cost money now. Well I'm sure it'll only be $5 anyway (cause $10 would be 1/3 of the cost of the game) and after all the free stuff it's not a big deal.

I gave up on this game when it first came out, but I heard they have been offering content and added online Road Rage. Road Rage was my favorite mode, so I ordered it from Gamefly today. Can't wait to give it another try.
