    NASCAR Racing 2 question...

I played this game all the time when I was little and was looking to pick it up since I saw it on Amazon for less than 50 cents. I had a question though.

Will the game work on Vista? When I played it the computer had Windows 95, and when I tried to DL the demo it wouldn't work...said something about the game not supporting full screen mode.

I'd hate to pay the money and not be able to play the game, so any help would be great.

Oh the memories of this game...

I tried installing it on a PC with XP several years back and I don't think it worked. So I am not sure it would work with Vista either.
    Just kidding.

I was about 7 when I played this and I think I spent more time screwing around and painting cars than I did actual racing ...I'd just go to Talladega, turn my car around the opposite way, and try to get head-on collisions with everyone.

        Re: NASCAR Racing 2 question...

Alright guys took me 6 hours but i finaly figured out the problem and how to play on xp system first of all you need updated dosbox. once you have dosbox you enter dosbox program should so you a Z:\_ from there you need to know the address of your cd drive that nascar is in H D B so on and so forth. Mine for example purposes is H.
Type in dosbox as follows substituding H for CD drive address
        mount c h:\ -t cdrom
dosbox will say h drive is mounted as c
        type
        c:\ then hit enter
        dosbox will show C:\
        then you will type
        install and hit enter
it will come up with a choice to min install or max install what you are going to do is the min
from there it comes up with the terms and leace agreements and system info all that stuff just hit enter then it comes up saying type n2 to play do not type n2 it will not work
instead type nascar2 and hit enter you should be able to play

This has worked and has been known to work i tested it myself as i said 6 hours of fiddling with it to get it to work. if anyone has problems Email me at [email protected] and i will see what i can do to help.
