I use the MadCatz one (I don't remember the exact model). It's programmable, and you can adjust the sensitivity (both steering and dead spot) on the fly.
All the wheels on XBox are pretty crappy, but that's the only one worth using at all in my opinion. -

Personally....
I prefer the controller with almost all XBox games. They're programmed with the controller in mind, and Nascar Thunder especially has a slip-sloppy driving model. It's tough to really feel like you're more in tune with a car with a wheel on the XBox.
I think that pretty much sums it up. Good if you HAVE to have one, but your lap times won't reduce significantly in my opinion. It's not like getting a really good PC wheel. They're designed to be cheap on the consoles, and they feel it.Comment

I have the Mad Catz as weel. I personally like it for all driving games. I especially liked it with Project Gotham Racing. The left and right tabs behind the wheel are used as steering brakes which makes it fun sliding around corners and earning more "Kudos". I will be trying it out this weekend with Midnight Club II.
On my wishlist is that Microsoft would sell a converter so that I could use my PC Force Feedback Wheel and that games would support true Force Feedback (not just vibration).
