I just came in here to "rabblerabble" about Road Rash and then saw that it wasn't even on the list.

That and Destruction Derby are my two picks for sure, although WaveRace was pretty damn sweet too. Dunno how they could make it nearly as impressive as the first, but I think it'd be cool to make it a combination water sports game where you have jetskis and whatnot but can also surf/wakeboard. Seems like there'd be a market for that... probably moreso than a jetski game without the "wow factor" that the original WaveRace had.

Oh wow, I completely forgot about Road Rash. I loved the first two of those games. That series completely slipped my mind. Had I remembered about it, it would have been on the list easy.

Little known fact of V8 second offense for ps1: take out the disc and put in a music cd to listen to your own music while blowing cars up. Also road rash was amazing. Wave race had beautiful graphics and the mechanics were awesome. Don't thinl that was a franchise tho. Also now technically the nascar series itself is a dead franchise since ea chose not to renew their contract with them.
