"In the HUD settings are there options to turn of the visual draft lines, points for passing, track map, cars around you, ect.... basically can you turn off/on everything on your HUD?

From what I can see so far, only thing I could turn off was the draft wake
Can you customize your HUD? IE - if I want to play on legend driving in car with no draft meter, no wind trails, no RIVAL graphic and no pop up point notifiers, can I do that? The only customizing I have seen so far, is the ability to take the draft wake off. I have found no options to clear the screen or change the HUD in any way."

still haven't seen 'hud' options?

Blue,

So my next questions deal with setups.
Have you been winning your races with stock setups or have you worked on the car?

How do the changes to the setup affect the car?

How about small changes like adding half a pound of pressure on the right rear? Does it make a noticable difference to the feel and lap times?

Lastly,
Have you seen and/or felt the track rubber up and if so did the car tighten up for you?

Thanks in advance for answering these questions whenever you get around to it. I appreciate it.

What are your options for the celebrations? Are they mostly generic? I know that Carl Edwards' flip is supposed to be included but I have to know, does the game include the Rowdy Bow? This game sounds great, can't wait til Tuesday! Thanks for all the info Blue!

Ok...just checked on how effective changing certain settings in the set-up are, and changes can make a huge difference. I played around with tire pressure, wedge adjustment, and camber, and some changes were very subtle, while other changes made dramatic differences. It's very nicely done.

I also want to test a theory about having less cars on the track, and real-time damage being adminstered in stronger cosmetic application. It could be just a coincidence, but here is a pic taken in real time, with only 5 cars on the track, at Bristol......

Can you change paint schemes of the existing cars, or only the create a car?

The force feedback is very well done. It's strong, but reacts well.

You cannot paint over, or change existing paint schemes.
