games like forza horizon?

while i dont have an xbox 360, i have a ps3 and am wondering if there are any racers on the ps3 like horizon...looking for more of an open road feel...i have gt5 and obviously its tracks...

any ps3 open road racers out there?

Have you kept an eye on NFS: Most Wanted? Obviously it's more arcade, but it looks great, and it's open world.

The test drive unimited are open world type racing games. I know TDU2 is out for the PS3. I've not played the second one but really had fun with the first.

Test Drive Unlimited 2 is awful. Felt like a PS2 game.

Burnout Paradise is excellent, and cheap.

But Need for Speed Most Wanted will be out on October 30th, wait and get that. It's Burnout Paradise but with real licensed cars.

Midnight Club LA is pretty good. The ai can be unforgiving and the traffic density is pretty high making for some frustrating races. But the game is open world and the police chases are good fun.

Not a huge line up of cars on offer but this is still a good open world car game. You can get the game of the year edition or whatever it is called which comes with additional areas on the map and cars.

I second this. this game wasnt on my radar as i felt it was just another need for speed game but it looks like a alot of fun and well implemented and varied
