Preordered Forza 7 Ultimate from Amazon - when will I get my code??

I preordered Forza 7 on Amazon for X1/PC and it says I'll get my code Sept 29, which is the actual day it comes out. I want to preload the game of course.

Has anyone here ever preordered from Amazon a digital game code before and, if so, when did you get the code?

I'd say ask Amazon, but based on what you've provided, sounds like the 29th. I know you get a discount via amazon prime for pre-order, but I imagine one of the perks of going directly through the windows store, is the ability to pre-load the game prior to the 29th. Though again, Amazon can provide clarity.

Ok, Amazon says a few hours before, hopefully like the night before...just FYI in case anyone else is wondering

Me: When will I receive the digital code to download this? I want to be able to pre-download it so I can play it on release day.

Sasikant: You'll get the pre download code hours before the actual release of the game.
