Re: 2018 AMA Monster Energy Supercross

Yeah there were a few bad get off's this week for sure.

I'm ok with the triple crown format for the most part but it becomes must dvr tv for me.....The show drags in a BIG way in the middle section.

If the show isn't live like last night there is no reason for it.

Start the show with the LCQ's and cut the time out between moto's for track prep...no reason not to with a non live broadcast.

NO MORE FLUFF PIECES!!!

Also the KTM Juniors while I love seeing the little guys out there...they should not slow the show down on triple crown weekends......one of the long delays was due to their non aired session going on.

Either show the little guys race or move it to the start of the show before the first 250 moto.....The track would already be prepped for them as well.

End of rant..lol

I will be attending the St Louis round again this year in less than 2 weeks....I'm fired up Brraapp!!!

Re: 2018 AMA Monster Energy Supercross

Overall a great night of racing. I am still unsure of the triple crown format... I love all of the racing, but at times it seems like too much. Plus the risk of a rider getting hurt is only increased with so many races in one night. Imagine James Stewart trying to finish all 3 races without a big get off??

I would actually prefer a 2 moto format like in the nationals, or just stick with the 1 20-minute main.

Tomac made one heck of a charge to the finish.....Fell a little short.

Super Happy for Brayton.....Were looting stores and setting cars on fire here in Iowa this AM...

Re: 2018 AMA Monster Energy Supercross

We just got home from St Louis our 11th year.

Webb had a crash training on Tuesday last week that he injured his shoulder.

He rehabbed all week and rode a practice session in St Louis...he had another crash he said that was due to the injury from earlier in the week.

I did see him in the pits and got a nice snap shot of his bike at sound check.

250 race had some excitement early. 450 was the Tomac show.

Great ride by Anderson to minimize damage. Got caught up in a mess in the first turn and battled from 21st to 4th.

NOTE: No race next weekend, next race April 7th in Seattle.

Re: 2018 AMA Monster Energy Supercross

Anderson made one heck of a charge....That may have been the pivotal ride of this championship when we look back.

Sounds like Martin jumped a double under the red cross flag and someone protested.

He keeps the win however he was docked 7 championship points.
