I agree 100% with you on the presentation or lack of. They need to add much more to career mode. Some commentators taking about track conditions before the first and second moto. Tell us who was the fastest during qualifying. Maybe a brief recap after each moto. As the season progresses they could comment on the points standings.

I'd also like to see injuries added to the game , if you crash hard maybe you twist a wrist or sprain and ankle and can't continue on for the rest of the day , maybe something more serious has you out for a couple weeks. There goes your season.

Also when you fall instead of re-spawning on the bike make it so the fallen rider has to run to his bike, get back on, and get gong again. I'd even like to see real life situations where a rider falls and has to wait for the field to go by just so he can cross the track to get to his bike. Lets say your in first place on lap 2 , you crash and get passed by the entire field now you've got 25 minutes and two laps to fight your way through the field.

Another thing we need is mechanical failures , bikes over heating during a mud race , flat tire so you have to go into the pits for a change. You crash and bend up your front end making the bike very difficult to handle. All these things would add to the season and make it more of a challenge to win the championship. In past games once I get my lines down on each track I win every race. They really need to add some real life "obstacles" to make it tougher.

Of course all these things mentioned should be able to be turned on or off before you start your career because not everyone would be into this.

Some good stuff here JMD. I love the racing, improved physics and AI...but there is still a lot that can be done to take the realism and immersion to the next level. Now that Milestone has been purchased by THQ I’m not sure if they stay the same path, regress, or now have the funds to devote to the minutia of the sport like you described.
