They never do - but I’ll keep bringing it up until they do(or they tell to me go away)

Re: GRID Review

How is this named "GRID" when the first iteration was "GRID" .... hopefully not so much drift.

Re: GRID Review

I picked up the standard version yesterday. After playing for 10 minutes I wish I bought the ultimate edition. Yes I knew after just 10 minutes I was going to love this game. Played for several hours today doing some career races , what a blast. I love the way the A.I. is programmed. If you bump them a bit to much they will retaliate. I hit the lead car pretty hard to take first place on the next to last lap, he caught back up to me a spun me out , I finished last. Awesome.

If you race clean so do they , start trading paint they will trade it right back.
Game looks great , I’m playing on the PS4 Pro. Runs very smooth , no stuttering or lag, even when there’s a big pile up on screen. This is definitely on the arcade side of racing games but man it is edge of your seat fun.

My only complaint is I wish you could adjust the length of the career races. 2 , 3 , 4 laps is all I’ve seen so far , to short for my liking. I’d like to see some 10 or 15 lap races.

Re: GRID Review

Random question - I really like the cockpit view in Project Cars 2 that shifts into the turns, but I have more fun playing the Grid demo (easier to get into, not quite so technical, and flashbacks are nice so I don't break another controller).

Does the full version have it? It's $23 on PSN, so I'm about to grab it.

I played the trial version of the new GRID on my XBox One X, and it had a decent cockpit view. For some reason, the "on rails" aspect of the car handling is what failed to hook me. I really ought to go back and try it again with more car classes to see if something changes that, because the game really looked nice.

Re: GRID Review

I go back and forth between Project Cars and this, I really enjoy the racing in Grid, it's not a perfect sim by no means, but for what it is, it's really fun to drive/compete.
