Nascar heat 5 gold edition delayed??

So i preordered the gold edition via Best Buy last week. Waited until midnight for my purchase code email so i could start downloading to be ready after work. No email by 1230 so i went to bed. I work up at 5, and saw an update email from Best Buy stating the release is delayed til 8/10 for some reason.

Any confirmation before i return through best buy and puchase elsewhere?

If there was something wrong with the game id imagine it would have been delayed before the standard version was out... and not literally the morning of the release. I cant find anything online stating a delay anywhere... help?

Ive been trying to find another digital copy but cant anywhere and all physical copies cant be picked up(not in stores yet for some reason) and all pre order links say not available. Shipping wont get here til next week thursday the 16th. Even stores in my area that are always same day. Maybe 1 day pick up options.

Walmart, target, game stop... no one has a physical copy i can purchase and pick up today.

Why not just buy it straight from the PS Store if you are looking for digital anyway?

Well i have an xbox. But yes, going to try that when i go home for lunch and see what i find. Even when i searched the microsoft store on my phone, i couldnt find a version to purchase so ill have to see what the xbox store shows.

Able to buy direct through xbox store on my lunch. Not sure why all retail merchants have nothing.
