Hahaha!!! In other words, there are no steps to take. You're screwed. This is the update I've been waiting for and will finally start my career. Good stuff.

Ya, slippery slope... Hopefully this isn't something more devs are going to do. The NASCAR Heat 5 team said something very similar, after a recent patch was released.

Which is really weird since the career/my team modes were designed this year to let you apply the upcoming driver performance updates (to come later this season) to be imported into existing saves. Something else in this update must be causing an issue with some saves. I'll be pretty damn frustrated in My Team is useless when XB updates to 1.06 as I'm closing in on completing season 2 already.

Mine too. All 3 of My Team modes were fine, same with my 2 career saves I was messing with.
