F1 2020 Newbie...

I purchased on PS4 months ago and never played. Finally added to my PS5 and WOW!

The game is fun and blows Heat 4 out of the water.

Stupid question... what do the S1, S2, and S3 mean in the top right side of the screen?

Without a screenshot it is hard to say.


But im sure it means, Sector 1,2,3 of the laps.

Yes they are your sector times.
When they are green, you have done your best sector to date.
When they are purple, you have done the fastest sector out of everyone.

That's how I felt when I played f1 2019. I was coming from Nascar racing 2003 but hadn't played that one in about 3 years prior to getting f1 2019 last year. I am blown away with how 2019 and now 2020 are. Like I was never really into f1 mainly because I didn't take the time to understand it, but wow it's crazy awesome. So much so my wife bought me a fanatec open wheel combo. Loving this series! f1 2019 is 2nd most hours I played on my steam account behind the 197 hours of AO tennis 2. f1 2020 is 3rd.

Yea as someone else said those are just sectors for each part of the lap.

Totally agree.
As much as I enjoy the MotoGp game, there is no comparison to the sensation of getting behind your wheel and busting off laps on this or the Assetto Corsas..
