FIU comes up huge in their opening game against Duke, winning 24-14. FIU HB Kedrick Rhodes earned player of the game honors, racking up 95 yds on the ground, to go with 1 rushing and 1 receiving TD. -

The new regime in Lafayette comes out with a big win over FCS East Rhinos 36-7. Alonzo Harris was player of the game with 233 yds rushing and 4 TDs. Watch out for this kid. :wink:
Since I got ULL its pretty cool cause a lot of my players have French Louisiana names; and it gives my team a nice bit of local flavor. Too bad it'll be gone in a few years once the generated player names take over.Comment

The debut of UMass Div. 1 football went well up until midway through the 3rd quarter.
Tied 3-3 in the 3rd rs. Junior QB Kellen Pagel threw a costly pick 6 and all went downhill from there. Dropped passes and costly penalties opened the game up for UConn and they took down UMass 31-3Comment

La Tech upsets Texas A&M 21-17. TAM went up a quick 14-0 in the first quarter. At the end of the first half it was TAM up 17-7. La Tech rallys back to win 21-17.
