Wyoming disposes of SDSU with a smothering defense : 35 - 14. Our top defense draft pick.. a highly rated CB.. made his 1st pick of his career with the announcers yelling "no one is gonna catch him" with 95 yds of green. However, the announcers must have been drunk. The defense had all kinds of angles to run him down and they did just that after a 30+ yd return. Our MLB, the leader fo the defense, also had a nice pick late in the game. On offense we ran up the gut and to the outside all day long. Our starting QB threw about 70% with 3 TD's. This was a pretty solid effort all around on the road.

Wyoming's toughest game will be hosting the Miami Hurricanes in a few weeks. Until then, we expect smooth sailing. The Miami game is going to be a lot of fun. Looking fwd to a white knuckler. An improbable win vs. Miami would launch the program into the rankings... but we are not holding our breath.

Back after a brief hiatus, ODU dispatches of Miami to (finally) pick up win #1. 41-28 final, could've easily been 41-14 but Miami tacked on 2 BS TD's late.

Wyoming, Miami is not very good. You should have no trouble.

North Texas crushes Georgia 33-3. I was hoping that Georgia would have gave a better fight. The North Texas defense returned to form tonight, sacking the scrambling qbs 13 times. Perkins lead the way with 5 sacks and 4 forced fumbles(UGA recovered all). DT Price did have a great game with 5 sacks, they could have had more, but they only played 3 quarters. Waller had solid game, tuning up for a big game next week against Michigan passing for 273 through 3 quarters. 3rd downs and TD% in the redzone were not up to the usual standard.
