North Texas takes care of Ole Miss 58-24. NT jumped to 14-0, then Ole Miss scored 10 straight. Backups got plenty of reps in this game. I was even thinking about putting in the 4th string qb. Cooper led NT with 114 yards 3 TDs, while Allen had 105 2 TDs. For Ole Miss, Kirkpatrick had 131 yards rushing and 41 yards receiving.

Next week NT hosts 7) Notre Dame.

INDIANA SHOCKS THE WORLD!!!

In a 6 overtime thriller Indiana defeats mighty Nebraska by a final score of 70-67. We were down 14-0 two minutes into the game and down 21-7 at the half but we never quit.

My QB Tommy Reese threw 6 picks but our RB'S combined for 74 carries for 262 yards and 7 rushing touchdowns.

ODU keeps rolling, topping Syracuse 56-16.

Defense played really well, only allowed 1 TD and 3 FG's, and forced a bunch of turnovers.

Backups played the 4th, and looked good. O.J. Houston and Jimmy Jones were solid in backup RB roles and Mike Hudson continues to learn at backup QB. Trey Kelly pushed another 100 yards in and Corey Davis continues to vie for some Heisman love after a 315 yard, 4 TD day.

In other news, I saw Buffalo blew out #4 Ohio St. and #2 MTSU was leading #18 South Carolina by a few in the 4th. Looks like NT and USM will be 3 and 4 next week unless MTSU did indeed lose.

NT will likely play Mid Tenn State in the SEC title game....

Congrats Indiana for beating Nebraska. Your program is on the rise for sure now.

All games have been played.
