So I've made it to the gold ranks and the players are dumber and sometimes worse than when I was playing bronze players, how is that even possible??

This really is unreal, the game I just played my teammate scores a goal then goes on to set the other team up for 4 goals and calls me trash, the mind boggles

Had a good night tonight playing Doubles. Decent teammates. Think I only lost one game. Went from Bronze 1 to Silver 2. I'll take it.

Got up to plat 3 on solo standards and these games are so much better. I'm pumped I can hold my own against season 3 grand champs. I definitely don't got the mechanics these guys have, but I can keep up with positioning and getting up for a ball fast.

I wish they kept the same ranks because I don't know where I am compared to last season, but I feel like i improved.

I think Silver ranks would have been Challenger ranks last season.

From what I understand...

Prospect- Bronze 1 to Silver 1
Challenger- Silver 2 to Gold 3
Rising Star- Plat 1
Shooting Star- Plat 2
All Star- Plat 3
Superstar-Diamond 1
Champion-Diamond 2
Super Champion-Diamond 3
Grand Champions- Champion to Grand Champion

That being said, I am going back and forth in Plat 2 and 3 and I didn't even get to Rising Star last season. I also still see a fair amount of grand champions still in these ranks, so it's still settling.

Damn I should have waited to do my placement matches. I started in silver 2 and 3 in most and had to grind up. I've been strictly playing ranked standard with my friends and most of them are prospect level as they play like once a week. One of my buddies won 8 of the 10 placement matches and placed plat 1 whereas I won 9 games of my placements and placed silver 2. I'm assuming he placed a lot higher because he got those wins against higher mmr players.

The salt when I carry 3 separate prospect players to gold 3 - plat 1 yet, I'm in gold 2 slowly going up divisions since the game thinks I belong here after playing so many standard games at this rating. I dislike how promotion and demotions slow to a crawl after you play 50 or so games. Can't be bothered to solo queue ranked standard over solo standard now and it's now strictly a playlist where I play with friends only
