Bought the game for Nintendo Switch today. Went right into competitive to get ranked. Did 10 placement matches in Doubles and got placed in Gold 3. Lol. I'm not even Gold 3 on PS4. Gold 2 I believe. 3v3 placement matches next. Playing on PS4 definitely helps with skill on here too.

The toxicity level on Switch is borderline non-existent from what I have seen so far. People just quit. Didn't see trash talking once so far.

Visuals on the Switch don't even come close to the PS4 obviously. I play on the PS4 Pro with 4K/60fps. The framerate on the Switch is horrendous. At least it feels that way compared to PS4.

Yeah lower framerate is hard to adjust to. Going from 140+ fps and gsync to regular ps4 rocket league is jarring. I can see every screen tear and stutter

Definitely can see every stutter on the Switch. I will still be playing it mainly on PS4 but I like that I have it available to play in another room too. My Switch is connected to my 1080p Samsung Plasma. Haven't played it handheld yet.

I wonder if turning on Game Mode will do anything for this game.

Finally reached platinum 1 a couple days ago, now back down to gold II. Yay.

Just noticed there's an RL section on here. I've been playing RL since it was free on PS4, but mainly play on PC now. I'm around low champion, so if people around that rank want to play, feel free to reach out. Lower ranked players are welcome to as well, I don't mind playing and teaching what I can, but I don't do it too often just because the speed of the game hurts when I try to go back to playing at my rank.

Help guys, idk what happened. I dont really play much any more, and almost exclusively casual when I do. But, seriously all of my games now are against amazing players and I'm consistently getting Grand Champions, etc. It is NOT fun. Like FFS, I dont want to play seriously, and I am not that good.

EDIT: So I looked up my tracker info and somehow my unranked MMR is over 1300, my ranked MMR is in the 800s LOL. What do I do, just lose continuously to get it down?
