first off. that isnt mycareer. second, ive rarely seen that happen in a mycareer game, (park rec or proam). i def havent seen guys coming down making those shots consistently enough to win.

i havent played much of this current live but last yr i played around this time and the way the badges work is that you equip them and there are certain tasks you need to perform to level them up....

i think he meant more along the lines of ‘if you jump early and are on your way down as the shooter is going up, you wont get an auto block’. as would often happen even when you got someone to jump...

no its crazy man. ive seen pure glass cleaners and pure rim protectors in the 80s hitting consistently. they just put their fav jumpshot and they have the timing perfected. or theyre using modded...

the part that made me come to my senses on this was when i read someone in this thread said go shoot 20 jumpers in the gym and tell me which ones were green and which ones werent...LOL i cried...

i agree that a defender simply in the area shouldnt result in a contested shot. pure locks in 19 didnt even have to jump, as long as they were in your immediate area they would get at least a yellow...

stats mean nothing in the moment. players dont miss shots because their 'analytics' say they will (its the other way around). players defy analytics all the time and there are many many examples of...

as for badges...im very excited for the addition of so many new badges and here is why:

too many builds didnt have enough build specific badges, and so some builds were given badges that didnt...

there is such a thing as a guaranteed make..i play basketball frequently and i consider myself a shooter. when the shot feels good you know its going in. so i like the idea of a green release.

Narrow/Focus The Archs

Simply put, too many archs can do things outside of what the arch was intended to do.
To hit shots consistently you should have to choose a build with a shooting focus...
