I'm in the same boat as you and have been following the recent discussions on here so am going to give timing at 6 with solids at 5 a go. I so wondered about contact 6 power 4 but haven't tried it.

Armor - trying to stay true to the process here, but the cpu is really scuffling on offense.

Over last 9 games the Rockies, Dodgers and Angels are a combined 52 for 297 (.175 avg) with 6 home...

Had some games that really make you appreciate how special this game is.

Had a 3 run lead heading into the 9th, 7-4, against the Angels. My closer who has been ace all season (1 bs in 15 attempts)...

Anyone considering strike frequency at 4? Finding the cpu quite anxious to come into the zone and my understanding of the slider is that it affects how aggressive the cpu is in attacking the zone vs...

I used to be a devotee to QC, because of limited playing time but I've played one game this year; started three quarters of my hitting ABs with 2 strikes and half of my pitching ABs with 2 or 3...

Try dropping pitch speed a click or two but sticking on HoF. It just makes it easier to pick your pitches to swing at. You'll draw more walks and pull the ball more, which will yield more power...it...

Interestingly I'm running the 5/5 pitching sliders as per 1.5, but with 6/6/6 contact/power/solid.

I've also been working on lower hum timing to up the challenge, but actually have come back up...

Agreed. Same as my point in the post above you. Everything feels good in terms of cpu offense except their babip is too low because they're not striking out enough!
