I find scouting fairly easy, though you have to be willing to see an initially low OVR and develop the player.

For QBs, for example, I want a strong arm first, and then I look at the accuracy...

I say sign him and trade him along with a second round pick to the Cardinals for Kolb. That trade never should've happened in real life. Kolb has been awful.

Taking Igor Olshansky and making him a 3-4 NT works wonders. He's fun and explosive to use at that position. Darnell Dockett is also a fierce pass rusher and fun to use as well.

You know, I played baseball video games way back to RBI Baseball and Bases Loaded on the NES. I loved the 2K baseball games from 2k5 to 2k7. They all had issues, but they were really fun to play.

My thoughts:

Defense looks improved. We shut down Jackson and Toler looks to be an upgrade at CB from McFadden. Could've used Dansby today, but Rhodes did a great job and I think is an upgrade...

No doubt. I completely agree. Take APF2k8, add the franchise mode and ratings system of NFL 2k5 and don't change anything else... perfect game. I'd play it for the next 10 years.
