it's a known issue.
dont look at the pass stats after a game and it wont crash.

If you're on PS5 (or PS4) get the EA pass for 1 month.
You'll get 10 hours of trial of fifa 23 (and the full fifa 22 game, no time limit)

If I remember correctly, with the WC 2018 DLC , it took EA a week after the world cup begun to update the rosters correctly.

The wrong kits (some shorts colors were wrong) were never corrected...

To avoid this, I always have a copy of my modified squad save.

EA only erase the latest squad. if you have a copy, the other one won't be affected.
