The biggest thing they're doing wrong is releasing a new game every year, we're at a point in tech where there's no reason to do it anymore.

This the main reason why I'd like to be able to edit those personalities, like loyalty, play for winner, and security. Created players that you make by default are all non loyal to teams.

It isn't different this time, they're still the only company making Football games, the lack of competition is keeping them from actually doing anything to improve the game.

I'm guessing by the later years you didn't have any "real " players anymore. A bunch of created players fighting for SB seems strange for me since I usually don't go past 20yrs.

I'd pick The Dream, mainly because he had a good FT% over Shaq. That means with his offensive threat, I could also have no worries with having him in when FTs were most important.

I found the ending to be sub par, but to be honest, it's not the first time I've been disappointed with the way an aspect turned out. I ended up getting over it pretty quickly...

I'm not sure what you mean by that, but I have both for the PC version, and they're pretty expansive in what they give you in so I think they're worth it.

Yes it was a bust, the lack of competition from 2K is probably the main reason for Madden's poor performance.
