Unfortunately no matter what the player's individualized ratings are the CPU will make roster moves based on OVR - these guys in the 50's will sit in AA until they retired due to age, skill, etc.

Unfortunately in my mind there's no reason that would be acceptable as to why this is still in the game. This is somehow worse than madden's inability to utilize formations correctly (3-4 glitch)....
