Is the mode doing a better job replenishing its talent? Last year's version there were maybe two 95 OVRs in the league at a time after all the real players retired.

You are correct...you were able to build up a pitchers stamina too, and part of the fun with development was the give and take between progressing stamina versus rate stats and pitch attributes....

I find that the mean overalls are super inflated with guys who reach 90 by the time they're like 32. The game is pretty bad at regenerating the high-end guys, though, except closers for some reason....

-Velocity and Control attributes can't be locked for a player's entire career
-You need to be able to stretch relievers into starters and vice versa. Stamina is another attribute that...

The PS2 generation was the golden age for all franchise modes. Why the heck have Madden and NHL gone so downhill since then?

To each their own I guess. IMO the mechanism behind free agency, scouting, and drafting is stuck 15 years in the past.

To be fair, I actually like the phase idea which I assume works like 2K's offseason. Maybe they should make something out of Winter Meetings instead ignore having a logo for no reason.

Simming games in quick succession makes the radio stuff really annoying. I get embarrassed of someone is in the room so I put the TV on mute.
