I believe that the International piece runs true to FIFA schedule. So if you're playing FIFA 23 then your leading into the World Cup for 2026. Most matches for World Cup Qualifying don't begin...

Also remember that each league is categorized into levels. If you move teams from conferences into other conference to try and make the conference at the correct level it will effect the schools.
