I can play and all that, what I mean is, the game freezes for like 3 seconds and then the Xbox itself blinks and shuts off.

Unfortunately not. However, if you do still own the game, I think I know of a workaround. Create a franchise (fantasy draft or whatever) and port the game over to mob 16 at spring training.

There was a base set in the roster vault that said "All MLB players removed"

I would love this also, I've seen a base roster in the vault that has no MLB players, but there aren't enough players to fill out all three levels and they're all 70's and lower.

I was a big fan of these as well. Really makes the GM side of baseball stand out when you get a fresh team with fictional players. Especially with the new scouting feature and the players' picture...
