The "simulate game" option when you go to a game on the schedule sometimes disappears.

A workaround is to just go to Play game and exit out, it will reappear on the menu.

Not much you can do about it. It's pretty random. In one franchise I have Mitch Trubisky is averaging 330 passing yards per game. I'm sure if you restarted you would get different results.

They are doing the same thing with WWE2k19, probably a decision by higher ups at 2K to give more incentives to paying for the more expensive edition of the games.

Celtics have 17 players on the roster (15 + 2 TW) in game. Which is the max the game allows. If they wanted to add Jonathan Gibson they would have to release a player who is on the roster IRL.

People complained about this and said it wasn't a realistic way for the CPU to defend because there was little differentiation between driving on bad defenders vs great defenders

Porzingis 95 shot 95 touch
Ben Simmons 70 Shot/95 touch
Donovan Mitchell 70 shot 80 touch

Ben Simmons went from SF/PF to PF/PG
Giannis went from SF/SG to SF/PF
Tyreke Evans is now a SG
Jamal Murray SG/PG to PG/SG

The game also needs to change the max contract when editing players to $50 million. $35 million is outdated now with the new CBA and max.

This might be too late or fixed by now, but I had this issue too. Try editing a player's rating, save the franchise, and advance.

If that doesn't work try advancing using a non-commisioner team....
