Why does the crowd go crazy on check swing appeals?

Anytime there's a check swing appeal it seems like the crowd gets on their feet and goes nuts, no matter which team or what the outcome is. But hit a home run and nobody really cares...

The CPU is even worse in 3 inning DD games. The starter will give up 6 runs and be completely out of gas and they'll keep him in there, then they always bring in the long reliever, even in the 3rd...

I know exactly what you mean, man. I made a whole other topic about how terrible fielding is. If your outfielder has a fielding rating under 70 good luck catching a routine line drive or popfly.

He's probably my best hitter and my worst fielder. I don't know why they made his fielding so bad... he used to be in the 70's I thought.
