It's not the sliders, it's the most recent patch (1.004). The game played much tighter on 1.003; defense was prevalent, there were less automatic plays by the CPU QBs, and less elastic comeback...

Shermans' Ricky Davis League is a solid fictional roster. Is it at BFR's level, no. But it is damn good if you want a completely fictional starting point for franchise.

I'm 20 games in... there have only been 1 or 2 CGs across the league, and that's with the 10 hook for the sim games.

For sim CPU v CPU games, I use the following:

10 hook
5 or 6 for INJ (MLB games only; 1 for MiLB games)
Trade slider
I leave everything else at default, including SP stamina... results have...

Dowie, this is exactly my point. These things don't always work like we think they do. Yet, people will dismiss this as hyperbole, without actually testing it or looking at empirical evidence.

Hey! I am playing on HOF, with timing for hitting and classing for pitching. I tried the Legend thing, too. It didn't really get me where I wanted to go.

I'm not sure how he'll handles all of those situations, but he does good work. The final product will be more than adequate.
