I don't know if this has been discovered by anyone else but ehm I was messing around with the 2k20 demo today. I wanted to make a Shaq build for fun and as part of it I chose the post scorer...

Its because there is no reason for a player who just wants to win online in any way possible to play through a big man or use a big man to score. It's much better to run around on the perimeter...

I don't understand this jumping to the side of him. It's not like I can tell my player to jump strictly in front of his arms and face. All I have is a triangle button and a right stick to contest...

Good to hear. MyCareer online game modes were beginning to get absolutely ridiculous if you played versus a cheesy team with a stretch big.

Right now all I wish they would do is punish players for getting reach-in fouls more. Reduce the number of fouls a player can get. Kick players out in park after 3 fouls (They should have done that...

The MyCareer story has absolutely blown me away. I don't know if it's because my expectations were low but this must be a contender for the best story they have ever made.

I am not sure about ratings but I don't think they are different. The attribute caps don't change when switching position though so I would assume there is no difference if you keep same...
