Yes experiencing that too.
I think it is the frame rate in cut scenes. It drops under 30fps often. It was the case in 15 when I started and still is.
Ps3, PS4 and now Xbox One.

No it won't work anymore.
It states "you must replace him".
When you hit B there is only a small sound .. like the game wants to say nooope.

Did they cut the Team record books ?
I only find the MLB Records.
Why should they? My last was 17 and I played it till last summer. And it is in many franchise aspects a better game I might say....

When you're on the losing end of a blowout, how to let them position players pitch?
I always did that in theShow 17.
Bun in 21 it wont let me go out of the "position player on mound" screen. ...
