Sorry, I should’ve said that I had no problem signing him in Free Agency. Other teams made offers, but the offer scores were below 90 (which I think means 90% of fair offer value).

I had the same issue with another QB. And manually editing his contract felt like cheating the system. Here was my solution:
I let the QB test out Free Agency and I found that I was the only team...

Thanks for the feedback. I wasn’t sure if you could edit players from within your franchise or not. I assumed this was just some legacy issue from past Madden games.
