Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the beta. But the fact that some of you won't even point this out when the clinch was their Key Focus area is baffling.

It is absolutely not possible to transition to better clinch positions from most bad clinch positions.

For example, in the single collar clinch with opponent on your side holding your head down....

They are not making you create a CAF to be competitive. The very top fighters in a division will still have higher stats than CAFs. CAFs are LIMITED now. Not like they were in UFC 3, all maxed out.

Agreed. I think it's a cool idea too. I want to see our CAFs compete against licensed fighters in Ranked.

And I don't think splitting the player base with two separate ranked modes is a great idea...

Sorry I mean transition denials. I think people are thinking they will be tweaked, so that the whole ground game isn't based on denials to gain grapple advantage .

I don't think I realized how much clinch changes could impact this game until I realized during the Usman Masvidal fight that we can't really have matches like that in UFC 3.
