If you want to play online head to head, you should chose PS5 as PC players are constantly complaining it's hard to find a game.

It's the best way to play this game, specially if you don't have good specs, using the loft box. Any loft wedges, loft box low to reduce backspin. On 6 iron and above, loft box to high to increase...

I started a new golfer, and got Pinehurst as US Open playing as an Amateur right away. Course looks and plays great.

I wish they would make lie and effect of ball landing in bunkers differently as it feels all the same. But then again, since they tweak the pick shot, no 2 ball hits feels the same and goes anywhere...

At the end of the day... it's a one year old game. Whatever EA is doing, a lot of golf addicts will buy and move to 2K25 nevertheless. And it doesn't even matter it's still the same old Unity engine...

There was always some online match where you have to use your created golfer, and other you can chose any golfer.


Edit: I just checked. Today, you have to use a created golfer for Birdie Fest...

They don't even have crossplay, and somebody on the EA forum is already complaining it would be unfair because of the haptic vibration for the swing mechanic on PS5. :smirk:
