If you are downloading for the first time, or restarting a franchise, then yes.

If you are already well into your franchise and don't want to start over, then I wouldn't use v2. It just makes...

I go in and bring my MLB roster down to 26 before spring training ends. Doing it this way, rosters and lineups did not reset.

Are you trying to trade within the actual franchise? You should be able to edit the rosters before you start up the franchise and freely move people around that way.

The logos can be a decent amount of work. I've messed around making some. Some are easy, and some are pretty difficult. I would imagine a very large number of teams have logos.

I think sliders are a personal preference. I play on HOF and use Lowe's sliders.
