Other than the weak coverage this sounds pretty good. Still probably won’t buy, but it won’t be because of gameplay, which sounds fairly good (again, besides coverage).

Not necessarily. The THREAT of low sales can be a motivator, too. If they feel like they might lose a bunch of customers, they'll change things with the quickness.

If the negative press continues and people actually keep their wallets shut, there’s a good chance Franchise becomes important again. At this point I don’t think any of that is likely, however.
