You cant spam them because you have to anticipate the correct strike. Guess wrong and you'd be vulnerable.

R2 and square to parry jab r2 and triangle to parry the straight. Would easily get through testing as its much like the block counter for the lead hook.

If you did it according to what punch was thrown it couldn't be exploited especially with vulnerability windows.

I think that we should have a darce choke takedown counter for certain fighters like ortega and Ferguson. It makes more sense then seeing the standing guillotine.

Straight punches are too hard to slip.

You have to have a godly sense of anticipation to slip these punches. The jab is near unpunishable off a slip. Head movement in this game sways too far towards anticipatory head movement completely...

The jab doesn't seem to do much when it comes to intercepts vs the straight. I think j the jab should be the main punch for intercepts akin to real life and not the straight. The jab sets up...
